My experience in audio stretches back to the early 1980s, when I worked as a recording engineer in one of Nashville's busiest studios. In recent years, as executive editor for the market-leading publisher of books about music-related technology and the recording arts, I have been deeply involved in educating musicians, engineers, and producers—from hobbyists to professionals—about the latest developments in audio technology.
